In recent years there have been innovative procedures like the liquid facelift that have given patients who want to forgo facial rejuvenation surgery, an effective alternative. We know that the results from a surgical facelift are almost immediate, but you may be wondering – How long until I see results from a liquid facelift procedure?
What is a liquid facelift?
A liquid facelift is a procedure that involves the use of cosmetic injectables – dermal fillers and Botox – to volumize the face and smooth out wrinkles. Facial filler injections can achieve similar results to the surgical facelift, and is less risky since there is no anesthesia.
A liquid facelift takes less than an hour to complete, and recovery time is minimal, so you can resume your normal routine right after the procedure.
How soon until you see results
How soon you see results depends on the type of filler used, but most dermal fillers provide some immediate improvements. Fillers get to work quickly to add volume, and contour areas such as the cheeks and jawline, and they also smooth out folds and wrinkles. Most clients look younger and more refreshed after the procedure.
However, the effects of botox can take about 2-3 days to show. Botox is typically used to correct lines at the corner of the eyes, between the eyebrows, and across the forehead. The customary swelling, tenderness, and bruising at the injection sites may also delay the outcome. Final results can take up to 7 days to show.
