Breast augmentation is designed to increase the size and shape of the breast. The procedure may be done for cosmetic reasons only, or to reconstruct the breast after a mastectomy. Breast augmentation surgery is typically performed with the use of breast implants.

What are the different types of breast implants?
Breast implants used for breast augmentation are available in a variety of styles, shapes, and textures. However, saline and silicone breast implants are the most common options.

1. Saline breast implants are filled with sterile saline solution, but the outer shell is made of silicone. Saline breast implants are approved for use in women 18 years of age and older, and are filled at the time of surgery.

2. Silicone breast implants are filled will silicone gel, and also have an outer silicone shell. They are approved for use in women 22 years of age and older. Silicone breast implants are often preferred, because they feel more like natural breast tissue than saline implants.

  • Form stable implants also referred to as ‘gummy bear implants,’ are silicone implants filled with silicone gel than has a thicker consistency than traditional silicone implants. This prevents leakage, so if a rupture occurs the implants will hold their shape.

Tighten Facial Skin & Jowls without Surgery

Loose facial skin Sagging Jowls
Facial skin loses elasticity due to aging and the loss of collagen, while sagging jowls are typically the result of volume in the cheeks that leads to a downward shift in facial features. The downward slide of the skin also contributes to the formation of lines around the mouth, specifically nasolabial folds and marionette lines.

How to Tighten Facial Skin & Jowls without Surgery
In recent years laser therapy has emerged as one of the most effective ways to tighten facial skin and jowls without surgery. Laser technology has become a popular alternative, because it can improve skin tone and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, without downtime. FaceTite is a revolutionary treatment that uses radiofrequency technology to tighten the facial skin and jowls.

FaceTite Skin Tightening
FaceTite is a non-surgical skin tightening treatment that can be used to tighten the skin around the jawline, chin, and neck. The treatment is done under local anesthesia, and involves the delivery of radiofrequency energy to the dermal layer of the skin. FaceTite provides an instant lift to the skin, but there will also be continued improvements in the following months, as more collagen forms.
