What’s the difference between SlimLipo and Traditional Liposuction?

What’s the difference between SlimLipo and Traditional Liposuction?

Traditional liposuction is a surgical procedure that eliminates fat from the body using a cannula. A cannula is a small thin metal tube that is inserted into the fat layer under the skin through tiny incisions. The cannula is moved back and forth to break up the fat, which is suctioned out with a vacuum that is attached to it.

SlimLipo is a laser lipo system that uses laser wavelengths to gently melt the unwanted fat cells. This differs from the fat reduction method used for traditional liposuction. SlimLipo is equipped with two distinct wavelengths (924 nm and 975 nm), so in addition to reducing fat, it tightens the skin with the 975 nm wavelength. Traditional liposuction does not tighten the skin.

SlimLipo is less invasive than traditional liposuction. It requires smaller incisions, so there is no scarring, and no tissues are destroyed (click here to learn more).
