How Can I Improve My Skin Tone?

Is your skin looking dull and lackluster?  If it is, you may be wondering how to improve your skin tone and restore healthy, glowing skin.  Although having a proper skin care routine is important, it is also essential to include cosmetic treatments that can enhance the tone of your skin.

Aging and environmental factors can affect the tone of your skin, and that’s why it becomes dull over time, and loses its youthful luster.  Fractional RF microneedling is a cosmetic treatment that can help even out skin tone.

What is fractional RF microneedling?

Fractional RF microneedling is an innovative skin rejuvenation treatment that combines microneedling with radiofrequency (RF) energy.

How fractional RF microneedling works

The fractional RF microneedling device has ultrafine needles that puncture the skin and create micro-injuries, while simultaneously delivering RF energy to the deep layers of the skin.

Fractional microneedling remodels existing collagen fibers and stimulates fresh, new collagen that rebuilds the skin’s support system.  Collagen firms and tightens the skin, and this improves overall skin tone and texture.

Treatment takes approximately 20-30 minutes.

What to expect after treatment

There is generally some mild redness and swelling after fractional RF microneedling, and this may last for a few hours.  The skin is extremely sensitive after treatment, so excess sun exposure should be avoided.

When will you see results after fractional RF microneedling?

Some improvement in skin tone can be seen about 3-4 weeks after treatment, but it can take up to 6 months for maximum results to show.
